How To Never Suffer With Writer’s Block Anymore Without Getting Too Creative Or Complicated.
Prepare yourself for the common sense that’s about to slap you in the face like a wet trout.

First of all, I have no idea where that “wet trout” reference came from. Possibly my early days online when I was big into IRC.
Second of all, I almost didn’t write this post because the imposter syndrome came knocking on my door as soon as I wrote the title.
But here we are, talking about that dreaded writer’s block — the slayer of best-selling author dreams, the butcher of book ideas and quite possibly, the most frustrating thing you will experience as a writer of any level.
Sailors experience a similar phenomenon when they get close to the equator and get stuck in the doldrums; certain regions in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans where there is little to no wind, making sailing near impossible.
When you’re on a streak, start filling up the drafts queue as fast as you can, starting with titles, subtitles and a short paragraph about the story that came to mind. The trick here is to not get tempted in writing the entire story in one go, but divide the creative input that you just experienced into several stories.
